STYX is built on one promise. Solid gold chains, priced at what the metal is actually worth, not a number invented at the counter.

That promise is hard to keep on a normal store. Gold moves every day, so a price typed into a product page is wrong by the next morning. And the website is usually a separate island from the system you actually run the business on. Stock, prices, and product details get managed in a POS or inventory tool, then re-entered on the site by hand, where they slowly drift out of date.

The brand also had to look the part. Off-the-shelf themes drop every store onto the same handful of layouts, and STYX couldn't sell gold as a serious asset from a template shoppers had seen a hundred times.

A build that solved all of it, live pricing, a real inventory sync, and a fully custom design, used to be a six-figure, enterprise-only project. That math doesn't work for an independent.

We built STYX a fully custom Shopify store, shaped around the brand’s design and the way its customers shop. Shopify continues to handle products, orders and checkout, while we build the shopping experience around the business.

We connected the website to STYX’s existing inventory system. Product details, stock and costs are managed in one place, so the team can update a piece once and have those changes flow through to the store.

On top of that sits the pricing engine the brand's promise depends on. The site pulls the live gold spot price on a short interval and recomputes every product from its real weight, karat, labor, and margin. Shoppers see the breakdown in the open: melt value, labor, total. The same logic reprices against vendor and material costs, so margins hold as the market moves.

And because clean product photography is slow and expensive, we generated and AI-edited it, turning rough phone photos into studio-grade shots that hold true scale, weight, and color.

The result is a storefront that looks like a luxury house and runs like a modern web app. Pages load fast and light on Shopify's global network. The design answers to STYX and no template. And the part every owner feels, stock and pricing, stays current without anyone re-keying it or touching a spreadsheet.
